Monica turned professional at the age of seventeen and took up a post at thr Victor Sylvester dance studios at Kilburn, London.She met Michael Needham and they very soon became one of the countries leading professional ballroom couples, winning many national championships and runner up in the World, British, European, International and U.K. Championships in the 1960s She was made an examiner of the I.S.T. D. In 1982 and is still very much involved with teaching and coaching.
Born in Italy William has been an active competitor Dancer for more than 20 years , his career has been in both Amateur and Professional danced to the highest level . His Retirement from competitive dancing was in 2006 at the RAH. Since than He has been involved in coaching World Class Dancers . Achievements : World , European , Italian , British Open , Uk , London International , Amateur Standard Champion . World , British Open , Uk , London International Professional Standard Finalist . Italian , European , Professional Standard Champion . World and European Show Dance Professional Champion.
Has achieved the highest honours in all grades from juvenile to professional over a period of lasting thirty years. Now most of my time is spent actively teaching all over the world and have become the co owner/director of the london ball. i am also a director of the world famous dansinn heavenley studio based in Hong Kong.
Kenny started dancing at the age of 10 winning the International Juvenile Ballroom Championship and then later the Junior UK, International and Open British Ballroom Championships. As an Amateur he became International, United Kingdom, 3 times Nth of England, British National Champions, World, European and Open British Ballroom Champions.This achievement was also honoured with a Carl Allen Award presented by Royalty. Together with his wife Marion as Professionals, they were runners up in the UK and European 10 Dance Championships and Grand Finalists of the World 10 Dance and British National Latin Championships. Grand Finalists for 8 years: UK, International, European, World and British Open Ballroom Championships. They also had the honour of being members of the undefeated "British Team" became World Cup Ballroom Champions and British National Ballroom Champions.
3 time ‘British Open to the World’ Latin American Champion, 10-time US Latin American Champion, and multiple-times British National Champion. By 21, Shirley had won nearly every major title she competed in worldwide. She is the only person to have ever won the British Open to the World Latin American Championships in Blackpool with two different partners and reached the finals an impressive 17 times. Shirley still remains the youngest ever female to reach the ‘British Open to the World’ Dance Championship finals. Shirley is now one of the top Ballroom and Latin teachers and adjudicators in the world and is delighted and honoured to now be head judge on the BBC’S Strictly Come Dancing.
Alan with his wife Hazel won every major title including the World amateur Latin American Championships in 1972 and 1973. During the period of 1976 until 1981 they won the all England, the Star, the UK, the International and the British Championships on several occasions. They won the European Championships from 1976 for five years undefeated, and won their five World titles as professionals from 1977-1981. Alan has been honoured with numerous awards including; The Carl Alan,BDF committee, the BDF Lifetime Achievement, the Bill and Bobbie Irvine Award, the Freedom to Dance lifetime award and in 2017 the Prince Mikasa Lifetime Achievement Award.

With over 35 years of dancing experience and several World and European championship titles under his belt, professional dancer Allan Tornsberg is today known to be one of the best and most educated teacher and choreographer in the world. He is also recognized and well respected as an international adjudicator at major competitions, including the World Latin Dance Championships, as well as been a Judge in the Danish version of the international television program Dancing With theStars 2006-2010. He is well known for his honest, genuine and sometimes very direct comments on television and has entertained millions of people around the world with his expertise and knowledge. He currently resides in New York City where he coaches and teaches young talented couples to pursue their dreams of becoming the next world champions.

We are very proud that Mr Bryan Allen is once again our fabulous Chairman of Adjudicators. Bryan is president of the British Dance Council. He is also, although involved with training some of the world's leading competition dancers, very active in all levels of teaching. Bryan Allen has, amongst many, written reports, reviews and articles for Dance Today and Dance News for very many years and he has reported for twenty-seven years on the meetings of the British Dance Council.
