Freedom to dance has been established as the right of all dancers over many years. We believe that the freedom to dance cannot be granted by only one organisation. Freedom to dance is based on fairness, integrity and principle. When force is needed to prevent people from dancing, then human rights are being violated.

The FREEDOM TO DANCE Open to the World Competitions will take place on Friday 8th till Sunday 10th May 2020 at the Copthorne Hotel, Effingham Park near Gatwick Airport.
The event will feature Professional Ballroom & Latin and Amateur Ballroom & Latin Events also Under 21’s, Professional & Amateur Rising Star Events, American Smooth and a full schedule of ProAm and Teacher Student Competitions. Also for 2020 FTD will hold the WDO World Amateur Ballroom Championship and the WDO World Under 21 Ballroom Championship!
All of our Adjudicators will be selected from the very best in the World of Ballroom and Latin dancing, representing many Countries.
