Freedom To Dance ProAm Ballroom
FTD are very proud to have had a fabulous selection of ProAm competitors representing many corners of the globe. It really demonstrated the high level ProAm competitions have now progressed to and all seven couples performed fabulously.
We thank you all for your hard work and support for Freedom to Dance.
1st Nadya & Sergey -Russia
Nadya & Sergey were easy winners tonight winning four of the five dances.
They had loads of energy and enthusiasm and showed great experience and commitment to everything they did. Fabulous entertaining choreography but still showing great class. Congratulations!
2nd Marina & Pavel -Russia
Marina & Pavel had a slightly more calm approach but challenged well, winning Viennese Waltz and offering a contrast in style to the winners. They gave a fabulous measured performance showing quality of motion.
3rd Fang-ping & Michael -Australia
Fang-ping (Sue) and Michael have beautiful footwork and a lovely quality of action to their dancing. Sue is a lovely soft lady dancer showing experience and sophistication. Its a joy to watch her improvement with her lovely partner and teacher Michael.
4th Cristina & Stefano -England
Cristina showed amazing improvement since her performance at Freedom to Dance in 2016. What fabulous progress, a joy to see! Keep up the good work you are doing a wonderful job and we look forward with anticipation to seeing you in 2018!
5th Sofia & Sami -Finland
Another lady that has shown a tremendous step up since last year. Beautiful, tall and elegant with a fabulous ballroom look. the focus on quality of motion is clear to see.
6th Janet & Aliaksei-Canada
Janet is a wonderful lady and a committed dancer who makes continued improvements to her performances. She looked fabulous tonight in Pale Turquoise and danced beautifully.
7th Esah & Gianni -USA
What a lovely lady who did a fantastic job at her debut at Freedom to Dance. Esau has a great floor personality and she looked elegant and sophisticated. Well done!
